The meat is butchered to your personal preference - Select steak thickness, how many steaks per package, how lean the meat is, number of roasts, and more. Typical cuts include T-Bone steaks, Ribeye Steaks, Round Steaks (can be cubed), roasts, stew meat, soup bones, short ribs, ground beef, brisket, and custom cuts can also be ordered per your request. See cut chart below.
We have our meat processed at a USDA inspected and certified facility.
The processing costs are based on the hanging weight. For a 1000 lb animal, the hanging weight is about 610 lbs. At $0.60/lb, the processing would be approximately $366.
Hanging time, selected beef cuts (bone-in vs. boneless), and amount of fat left on packaged meat all impact the total take home amount of meat. This figure is provided for an approximation, and actual take home amount will vary.
